We also use HEPA filters on all of our vacuums. It is important to also have the correct size vacuum for your job. The standard rule of thumb for this is to have a vacuum that provides 25 cubic feet per minute (25 CFM) or greater airflow per inch of wheel diameter, a filter with 99% or greater efficiency, and a cyclonic pre-separator or filter-cleaning mechanism.
