If your flooring is going to be taking a beating there is no greater option available than Urethane Cement, aka UC. Because of UC’s ability to expand and contract at a similar rate as the concrete slab beneath it, it can easily withstand daily steam cleaning or pressure washing. By mixing urethane resin with Portland cement and other binders, this coating creates a mechanical bond stronger than any epoxy finish or otherwise. If you need your floors to withstand heavy abuse, nothing beats our urethane cement coating.

Industry-standard polishing systems can vary widely. What they all have in common is grinding the concrete starting with a rough grind and finishing with an ultra fine "polish" grind with some lithium-silicate densifiers in between to make the concrete harder and more dense along the way.
Floor Skinz uses both wet and dry processes depending on the client's needs and what the installation crew feels is the best fit. We also apply a cementitious or epoxy "pit grout" to help fill tiny voids that may be visible due to soft or imperfect concrete. There are several options to customize your polished concrete floor. If color is desired we can apply a concrete stain to create some unique variation or even apply a multi-colored dyed logo.

Update your flooring with a solid-color, resinous coating that will make it look superbly clean. Also known as “neat coat flooring,” resinous epoxy or polyurea is easily customizable and can be used for a variety of different floors. We recommend a broadcast of our sand or quartz aggregate to increase skid-resistance.
